My Final Thoughts

This is my final thoughts into creating my magazine looking at more magazines I looked into the photo shoot the way they are standing, location, props etc. I also looked into colour theme as all magazine use a constant colour theme through out every issue of their magazine. I also looked into interviews as all magazines have an interview with a band, looking at an interview I will use the same ideas for example questions and presentation.

My flat plans

These flat plans show the very basic idea of what my final music magazine will consist of, using the basic formations of any other magazine. I still need to look into a band and what they are like so I can reflect this into my magazine. Looking into my magazine research I will use neatness but giving all the needed information.

Practise Using PhotoShop

Here Practising using Photoshop I created a marquee for striking cover lines all magazines have this it is to crate a cover line which is easy to use on Photoshop as I didn’t have to move one item at a time I can move this as a complete item. This was a useful practise as I will need to use this for my music magazine.

Here using Photoshop I practise using key tools I used a white snake CD cover and here I turned the back ground black and white and using paint brush I changed the colour from a green to pink. I changed it to pink because I wanted to make it more feminine it was originally green and also using this pink it really brings out the colour making it very bold and it brings all the attention to the snake.

Mood Board To Show Inspiration

This images show CD artwork which shows how the artists like to show themselves some very artistic and some very secretive which wont give much away. Some other images of bands and their style shows how they like to present themselves.

Preparations for My Music Magazine

This shows the beginning of me bringing my music magazine together; I brainstormed ideas for names of my magazine this is an important part of my magazine as it is the identity of the magazine also looking into fonts for the masthead. I also look at locations many rock artists use, they ether look into rural areas, studio, church, etc. I also look into the house style which is a rock magazine through the ages but aimed at girls.

Mood Board To Show Inspiration

This mood board shows inspiration including art work. Music is highly associated in this board as it shows art work of the artists in a artistic way, the most influential image is the one of ‘Jimi Hendrix’ as it is very artistic and can used similarly used on PhotoShop. 

Practise using PhotoShop

Here I practised using Photoshop history brush it creates a fantastic affect which draws all the attention on the object. First I made the image black and white then using the lasso tool creating a border, then using the history brush I brought out the colour.
